My name is Francisco Cortes, Im the owner, and my journey into entrepreneurship started when I was just 16 years old.
At the time, I was working in landscaping making $11 an hour. The work was extremely demanding, and I saw firsthand how hard the workers around me were pushing themselves every day. Despite the effort and long hours, the pay didn’t reflect the value of the work being done. That experience opened my eyes and made me realize something important — I didn’t want to spend my life working relentlessly for a company that didn’t truly value its workers.
That realization sparked an idea.
I founded Los Dompeleros Junk Removal with a vision not just to provide a great service, but also to build a company that treats workers better and pays them fairly for the work they do.
Today, at 18 years old, I am running my junk removal business across Las Vegas while also attending college and majoring in Business. I currently operate with my 8×12×4 dump trailer, helping customers all over the Las Vegas area remove unwanted junk quickly and professionally.
My long-term goal is to expand Los Dompeleros Junk Removal across Las Vegas and eventually into other states, while creating opportunities for workers in this industry to earn better pay and better treatment.
